Rosalyn D. Thompson-Blackwell is the President/CEO of 91¿ì²¥, Inc., a company she founded after serving as an officer in the U.S. Army for 23 years. The U.S. Army equipped Mrs. Blackwell with self discipline and leadership skills, which helped her to become an entrepreneur.
Mrs. Blackwell has a Master’s Degree and received her Executive Education from Harvard University and Certification in Strategic Leadership from Cornell University.
Life experiences have taught her that when a Team sees leadership that is bold, compassionate and family oriented, success is inevitable. It is the shared vision of 91¿ì²¥â€™ stakeholders that the company will continue to grow, develop, and expand.
An outgrowth of this philosophy has led to the establishment of the non-profit ‘The Miles Blackwell Foundation’, which serves the North Alabama community by helping children receive a productive education and equipping them with resources needed to escape systemic poverty and homelessness.
The Catalyst: What would you tell your younger self just starting out?
Rosalyn: Learn yourself so well that you can unapologetically be yourself in any situation.
